Keeping Families Connected – FAQ’s

Why do you focus so much on Personal Growth?

Your journey to peace, health and wellbeing begins here. Additionally, the better person you become the better your relationships will be. Your relationship with the Lord is primary. But your relationships with your spouse, children, friends, family and co-workers will all benefit from your personal growth.

Can these Marriage Resources really help my marriage?

God has the power to save any marriage. The resources we recommend are based upon His principles and have been proven to work. But it takes both spouses submitting to Him and His principles to make a marriage all that He created it to be. Your part is to focus on becoming who God wants you to be and to pray that He will help your spouse become who He wants them to be.

How does Keeping Families Connected help families during a divorce?

We provide resources to help anyone going through a divorce to protect themselves and minimize conflict and damage to their family and finances. We cover pre, mid and post-divorce issues to help families thrive and stay connected as much as possible despite the challenges of divorce. We also help parents to identify and overcome Parental Alienation, which is common in high conflict divorces.

How does Keeping Families Connected help children

We help children that have experienced abuse or neglect. We help them to discover or reinforce the value of faith in their life. We provide parents with powerful tools and resources to strengthen their marriages, and to protect, nurture and guide their children.

Should I share this resource with my pastor or counselor?

Yes. This resource should be used by any pastor or counselor that deals with marital or family issues.

Why do you have a section on Grandparents?

We believe that grandparents are an important and integral part of the family. In most cases, they bring spiritual and practical maturity, wisdom and perspective that can greatly contribute to strengthening and nurturing strong and healthy family relationships.
