15 – Taking Care of Yourself

Most people are surprised by the intensity of emotions and fatigue they experience during a divorce. They feel apprehensive, overwhelmed, threatened, at risk and uncertain. But when you consider all the areas of your life that are affected by divorce, it’s not surprising at all. Let’s take a look at some of those areas and how to address them in an empowering and healthy way.

Remember your life is your responsibility.

That may sound harsh, but we all know it’s true. Divorce is difficult and life-changing, but you are not a victim. Never forget though, with responsibility comes empowerment and amazing opportunities to make your life what you want it to be. You can and should become a better and wiser person than you were when you began this journey!
